Area Nursing Homes Receive Top Ratings: U.S. News & World Report
Windsor Park, Wynscape retirement communities receive top ratings from U.S. News & World Report.

The nursing home at Windsor Park retirement community in Carol Stream has earned a five-star rating in U.S. News & World Report's list of best nursing homes, according to a news release from Windsor Park.
Wynscape in Wheaton also received an overall five-star rating.
Out of nearly 16,000 nursing homes nationwide, the ratings highlight the top homes in each city and state, according to the release. Seventy-eight of the 397 nursing homes in metropolitan Chicago received an overall five-star rating from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

"Every employee at our skilled nursing center is dedicated to quality care,” Tiffany Barton, Windsor Park health care administrator said in a statement. “We’re proud to offer the very best to rehab patients and seniors in the Chicago area.”
The Best Nursing Homes rating draws on data in health inspections, level of nurse staffing, and quality of care to determine an overall rating.

“Fewer than one out of every five nursing homes got an overall rating of five stars,” Avery Comarow, U.S. News Health Rankings Editor said in a statement. “All seniors deserve the best nursing care available, and these are homes that merit their consideration by demonstrating such high quality.”
Windsor Park is a faith-based, nationally accredited, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community located at 124 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Steam, Ill.
