Arrowhead Restaurant Closed After Gas Line Rupture on Butterfield Road

Arrowhead Golf Club food services are down for the rest of the night due to a ruptured gas line on Butterfield Road in Wheaton. The bar will reopen at 7:30 p.m.

Food service at Arrowhead Restaurant and Bar in Wheaton was closed most of Thursday evening after a construction crew ruptured a gas line on Butterfield Road, according to an announcement Arrowhead sent around 6 p.m. Thursday.

The golf shop, driving range and are open.

Construction crews informed park district staff the line ruptured around 11:50 a.m., said parks Executive Director Mike Benard. No one was injured or hospitalized, but the smell was obvious, Benard said.
