'Brew It Forward' At Cantigny Park in Wheaton on Veterans Day

WHEATON, IL — This Veterans Day, Cantigny Park in Wheaton is hosting a beer tasting event to raise funds for the Midwest Shelter of Homeless Veterans. The family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents can purchase their own tasting ticket, donate directly to the Midwest Shelter of Homeless Veterans, or buy a tasting for a veteran. Veterans who attend the Brew It Forward event will be given two complimentary tickets.

3-ounce samples will be available from the following vendors for $2 for 1 sample, $3 for five samples, and $10 for eight samples:

• Lake Brothers
• Veteran Beer Company
• 4204 Main Street
• And more!

Kids will be able to take part in their own fun by preparing gift bags for veterans, crafting handmade poppies, and gathering for story time in a World War II era vehicle. Hot chocolate will be on hand to keep them warm and cozy!

Brew It Forward will be held on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 at Cantigny Park, 1 S 151 Winfield Rd. at the First Division Museum and Tank Park.
