Clare Woods Academy Accepting In-Person Students

CWA is a therapeutic non-profit day school for those with special needs, and is currently offering openings for in-person learning.

With all of the hybrid or remote learning situations, there are so many parents with students with IEP’s and 504 Plans having such a hard time wanting their child in-person to meet their needs.

Clare Woods Academy, a non-profit therapeutic day school in Wheaton, is open IN-PERSON going on 6 weeks, with amazing results. They have instituted advanced safety protocols including temperature monitoring, masks, and enhanced disinfecting to make in-person learning successful and safe.

According to school administration, they currently have only 10 openings for students, primary through high school, but based on the obvious struggles parents going through, they wanted to offer support where available. Students come from all over, from Elburn to Naperville, Glen Ellyn to Lake Zurich, and everywhere in-between.

If you feel your student could benefit from daily in-person interaction with their Teacher you first need to talk to your district about your interest request that the district send a formal referral packet including a copy of the student’s most recent IEP.

If you have any questions or interest, you can contact the school at media@blcinc.org. To learn more about Clare Woods Academy / Cupertino Home go to blcinc.org.
