Cold Days Ahead as Wheaton, Glen Ellyn Head Into New Year

Be sure to bundle up as you head out the door over the next couple days.

Temps will begin to drop off Monday night into Tuesday morning with temperatures as low as 16 degrees in Wheaton, according to the National Weather Service

On Tuesday, Wheaton should see mostly sunny skies and high of 20 degrees. Tuesday night will be especially chilly with temps expected to reach a low of 8 and wind chill values as low as -7.

Heading into New Year’s Eve, it won’t be much warmer. A high of 19 degrees is expected in Wheaton and wind chill values could be as low as -7. A low of 15 is expected New Year’s Eve night.

A high near 28 and mostly sunny skies is in the forecast for New Year’s Day.
