Cops Seek Videos Of Suspicious Incident, Trespassing In Wheaton
Wheaton police are asking residents to review their surveillance videos to see if they spot a vehicle that may be linked to two incidents.

WHEATON, IL — Wheaton police have identified what they are calling a "vehicle of interest" that may have been involved in a suspicious incident in which a man followed a woman home, and criminal trespassing in which a man entered another home Dec. 15.
Around 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 15, Wheaton police got a call from a woman who awoke to find a man trespassing in the bedroom of her home on the 600 block of Scott Street. The man fled after the woman woke up, police say.
Then, around 7:15 a.m., a woman was out for a jog near Main Street and Prairie Avenue when she discovered a man was running directly behind her. She told police the man followed her to the 1100 block of north Main Street and was standing in her driveway when she got home.

After these incidents, police urged residents and business owners to share information and surveillance footage from their home video systems. This led police to identify a car of interest as a light-colored four-door late model sedan.
