Costume Contest, Downtown Trick-or-Treating Held This Weekend in Wheaton

Boo-Palooza will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday.

WHEATON, IL -- The Downtown Wheaton Association will be hosting its Boo-Palooza Downtown Wheaton Trick-or-Treat event this Saturday in Wheaton.

Come out in costume and trick-or-treat at downtown businesses from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. There will be a costume contest that begins promptly at 10 a.m. at Martin Memorial Plaza, which is next to the fountains on Front Street.

The below streets will be temporarily closed from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (see a map of these closures) during Boo-Palooza:

  • Front Street between Hale Street and Main Street
  • Northbound Hale Street at Liberty Drive.

During this time, these streets will be staffed with uniformed police officers to assist pedestrians and direct traffic. Motorists may experience temporary traffic delays and choose to alter their travel route to avoid these areas.
