DuPage County Coronavirus Update, 1,759 Cases, 94 Deaths

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — As of Monday, DuPage County reports 1,759 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and 94 deaths. County officials say the number of positive cases is "likely much higher" due to cases that are "unreported or untested."
County officials said seven coronavirus-related deaths were reported since Sunday. They are:
- A woman in her 40s with underlying conditions who was living in a long-term care facility in Wheaton
- A man in his 60s with underlying conditions who was living in a long-term care facility in Wheaton
- A woman in her 70s with underlying conditions who was living in a long-term care facility in Naperville
- A man in his 70s with underlying conditions who was living in a long-term care facility in Westmont
- A woman in her 90s with underlying conditions who was living in a long-term care facility in Burr Ridge
- A man in his 90s with underlying conditions who was living in a long-term care facility in Carol Stream
- A woman in her 90s with underlying conditions who was living in a long-term care facility in Naperville.
The news comes as cases in Illinois reach 31,508. The statewide death toll from coronavirus was at 1,349 as of Monday.

The county's system of reporting shows confirmed coronavirus cases in age groups from 0 through 9 years old to 80 and older. It also includes a breakdown of cases by municipality.

The DuPage County Coroner's Office directed Patch to the DuPage County Health Department for a breakdown of deaths by city, but the health department said it is not releasing that information as of press time.
According to the county's breakdown, the majority of cases have affected those between the ages of 40 and 70, but all age ranges had confirmed cases. Here is the breakdown as of Monday evening.
- 0-9 years old: 12
- 10-19 years old: 16
- 20-29 years old: 214
- 30-39 years old: 247
- 40-49 years old: 281
- 50-59 years old: 309
- 60-69 years old: 285
- 70-79 years old: 167
- 80 years old and older: 228
