Early Morning House Fire Displaces Family In Wheaton
No one was hurt in the blaze, which damaged a home around 2 a.m. Friday.

WHEATON, IL — A Wheaton family was displaced from their home after a fire broke out early Friday, according to an update from the city.
Fire crews were called to the 1800 block of Helen Court around 2 a.m. and got to the scene to find heavy fire coming from the back of the house and extending to the roof and interior of the home. All residents had safely evacuated and no one was hurt in the blaze.
Firefighters were able to control the flames within an hour, a news release said.

After an investigation, it was determined the cause of the fire, though still undetermined, was not suspicious in nature. The residence was deemed uninhabitable.
