Featured Adoptable A.R.F Pet of the Week – Bert

Are you looking for a new four-legged best friend? A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation has many cats and dogs available for adoption. We're based in Wheaton, IL, and perform pet adoptions in DuPage County.

Bert is a 1-year old, medium-sized Cur Hound mix who's well-behaved and has lots of love to give. Curs are a working breed, so Bert enjoys regular activity, is extremely intelligent, and is eager to please. Like many rescue dogs, Bert needs a little time to warm up when he meets someone new. He has some separation anxiety so would love to join a home where he won't be left alone for too long.

Bert's Perks:

• Excellent at walking on a leash
• Gets along with other dogs
• Knows Boundaries - he won't chew on furniture or human things
• Will be OK in an apartment
• Loves to cuddle and chill with humans

Bert's Goals to work on with his new family:

• Separation anxiety - may bark or cry if he's left alone too long
• Easily startled, Bert may bark or lunge at other dogs or children if he's surprised when walking

Won't you consider making Bert your new best friend?
