Full Evacuation At DuPage Courthouse After Water Pipe Bursts

DuPage County Courthouse was evacuated Monday after a water pipe burst.

WHEATON, IL — The DuPage County Courthouse was under a full evacuation order Monday after a water pipe burst. County officials said a fire alarm was activated when the water pipe burst at about 11:15 a.m.

No one was harmed when the pipe burst, according to a release from DuPage County. The evacuation "was handled quickly and efficiently by deputies in the courthouse," officials added.

After Wheaton Fire Department verified the building's safety, normal courthouse business resumed.
