Full Music Lineup Announced for Naperville Neighborly Day, Sunday August 9th

NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS – Naperville Neighborly Day, a free Block Party with traditional nostalgia vibes in downtown Naperville,[GU1] on Chicago Ave. between Washington to Main St, recently announced their full music lineup for performances on Sunday, August 9th.
Maggie Speaks, the award-winning band with longtime ties to Naperville, will be closing out the Block Party with music from 5-7pm. Earlier in the day, musical performances from longtime Naperville favorites One More Time (OMT) and Tres Moustache will be taking the stage, along with the Naperville School of Rock students kicking off the event starting at 11am. Visitors to the Block Party are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the full lineup of musical performances and are invited to enjoy other activities throughout the day including a Bags Tournament, 50/50 raffle, Family Fun Area for young children, and local food delights from Jon's Ribs, Darkhorse Grill, and Naperville favorite, Kreger’s Brats. For easy parking, free Tuk Tuk Naperville shuttles will be transporting guests to and from the Van Buren parking garage from 1pm-7:30pm to the Block Party.

As part of the Naperville Neighborly Day celebration, DuPagePads will also recognize local volunteers, groups, and faith partners throughout the day who have helped to make their mission to end homelessness successful since 1985. Before the final musical performance, a toast will be included celebrating anniversaries of neighboring longtime businesses including the Lantern celebrating 60 years, Empire celebrating 10 years, and other local businesses with a long history of being great neighbors in Naperville.
Proceeds from the Block Party benefit local families and neighbors who are ending their experience with homelessness through DuPagePads’ services and housing programs.
