Fatal Hanover Park Hit and Run: 83-Year-Old Man Charged
Police said Ramon Barajas, 83, of West Chicago struck a motorcyclist in Hanover Park and then fled the scene of the accident.

HANOVER PARK, IL — An 83-year-old man has been charged in the hit-and-run crashed that killed a woman riding a motorcycle in Hanover Park on Monday. Police charged Roman Barajas with leaving the scene of an accident involving death.
Police said the hit-and-run accident in Hanover Park that killed Christina Jankowski, 30, took place shortly before 8:30 p.m. Barajas reportedly headed south on County farm road after the collision.
Police found Jankowski unresponsive and pronounced her dead at the scene of the accident. Initial autopsy results indicate that Jankowski died of massive head trauma.

Barajas is being held at the DuPage County Jail on $50,000 bond.
