Your Guide to Wheaton's 2016 Holiday Lights Parade, Dickens of a Christmas Celebration

The Holiday Lights Parade will be Friday evening and Dickens of a Christmas Carriage rides will start on Saturday.

Soon after Thanksgiving, it’s time for downtown Wheaton to kick off the winter holiday season.

The Lighted Holiday Parade steps off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 and serves as the official kickoff to the Dickens of a Christmas Celebration in Wheaton.

The parade begins at Wesley Street and Wheaton Avenue and heads south towards Front Street before heading east on Front Street and ending at Cross Street. Visitors to the parade can check out lighted floats, costumed characters and more in this parade, which is organized by the Downtown Wheaton Association.
