Brian Thunderkick, 62, and his ex-wife were found dead in Thunderkick's home Thursday morning, police say.

WARRENVILLE, IL — A Warrenville man charged with causing a 135-mph crash that killed an Elgin woman missed his court date Thursday; when police came to serve him court papers later, they found him dead. Brian Thunderkick, 62, and his ex-wife, Laura Arns, 62, were found deceased in Thunderkick's Pierre Curie Lane home , Daily Herald reports.
In a news release, Warrenville Police said there were no signs of violence or forced entry at the home. According to Warrenville Police Chief Raymond Turano, the community was not believed to be in any danger.
Thunderkick who was arrested in early October in connection with the crash, was released on October 18 after posting bail. His release came not long after prosecutors were denied a request to increase bail after presenting evidence that Thunderkick was under the influence of barbiturates when he allegedly drove his Camaro down Butterfield Road at 135 mph and caused the fiery collision that killed Erika Villagomez.
