McCormick Museum Features 7 Christmas Trees Decorated by Local Charities

The public can check out the decorations and vote for their favorite tree. The charity with the most votes will receive $2,500.

Seven DuPage County charities have decorated trees that are currently on display at the McCormick Museum in Wheaton.

The public is invited to vote for their favorite decorations now through Dec. 30. The charity that receives the most votes will receive $2,500 from the McCormick Foundation.

In addition, the McCormick Foundation is donating $2,500 to each group chosen as part of the display, which includes: Community Housing Advocacy and Development (CHAD), Friends for Therapeutic Equine Activities, We Grow Dreams, Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry, Revelation Golf, Ronald McDonald House and Family Shelter Service.

Visitors can also check out the Freedom Hall tree, which is decorated by Phillip’s Flowers.

The McCormick Museum, at 1S151 Winfield Road in Wheaton, is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is closed on all Mondays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
