Memorial Day Ceremony Set For May 27 In Wheaton

The ceremony will include a laying of the wreath by Gold Star families.

WHEATON, IL —The DuPage County Memorial Day Ceremony will honor fallen heroes with a special ceremony on Sunday, May 27. The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial in Wheaton.

The event will honor fallen war veterans with a laying of the wreath by Gold Star families. The DuPage Honor Guard will perform a weapons salute and will ceremoniously retire the colors.

If weather is rainy, the ceremony will be moved inside to the 421 JTK Administration Building at the DuPage Government Complex.
