From Movement Comes Stillness: Tai Chi and Meditation

Learn the meditative movements of tai chi to cultivate a relaxed body, strong internal energy, emotional stability, and a focused mind.

The meditative movements of tai chi are excellent preparatory and complimentary mind-body methods to support meditation practice from any tradition. Tai chi can provide a bridge to and foundation for meditation – cultivating a relaxed body, strong internal energy (qi), emotional stability, and a focused mind. Don will discuss the moving mode of Taoist meditation utilizing Wu style tai chi in lieu of more ancient long qigong forms.

Don Myers has over 30 years of experience as a student of Taoism and practitioner of tai chi, qigong and neigong, and has taught for 25 years. Holding seven Instructor Certifications from Taoist Lineage Master Bruce Frantzis, Don is also a Certified Advanced Instructor and professional member of the National Qigong Association. He owns Silver Ox Tai Chi in Geneva (www.silveroxtaichi.com).
