Pleasant Hill Workout Warriors
Our WWEA members at Pleasant Hill are supporting one another in their efforts to remain healthy to better manage day-to-day demands.

The education profession is exciting, rewarding, and always changing. It also comes with numerous challenges such as time management, a neverending “To Do” list, and balancing work and home life balance that contribute to an increase in stress levels. Our WWEA members at Pleasant Hill Elementary School in District 200 are supporting one another in their efforts to remain healthy to better manage day-to-day demands. Beginning in 2014, a group of Pleasant Hill educators have been exercising together three times each week. They meet in Ms. Annie Murray’s 3rd grade classroom after school, where she leads a variety of workouts including Insanity, Tabata, and HIIT. Exercising has not only enhanced their physical health, but their social emotional wellness too. Relationships have been a wonderful benefit, as they encourage one another, hold each other accountable, and celebrate one another’s achievements. This special sense of connectedness is what keeps them committed and coming back for more. The Pleasant Hill Workout Warriors include:
- Ms. Annie Murray (3r grade teacher)
- Ms. Katie Clark (4th grade teacher)
- Ms. Ann Tomlinson (4th grade teacher)
- Ms. MaryBeth Collins (LLC Director)
- Ms. Kim Seaman (EL teacher)
- Ms. Janet Spence (PACE teacher)
- Ms. Suzy Secor (4th grade teacher)
- Ms. Katie Walsh (Speech teacher)
- Ms. Rachel Frohlicstein (4th grade teacher)

The WWEA appreciates all of your efforts to maintain a healthy lifestyle and support one another. Education can be a challenging profession, but with increased personal health and social relationships comes support that helps us do our jobs to the best of our abilities. Well done, Pleasant Hill Workout Warriors!
