RENEW 2015: Summit for Correctional Ministry Volunteers and Professionals, May 28-30
The Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association (CMCA) will host an International Correctional Ministries Summit at Wheaton College.

The Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association (CMCA), a ministry of the Institute for Prison Ministries (IPM) at the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College, will host RENEW 2015, the third annual International Correctional Ministries Summit, from May 28–30.
The summit, which will take place on the campus of Wheaton College, is designed to bring together correctional ministry professionals and volunteers for learning, networking, strategizing, and inspiration.
Plenary speakers include Bible teacher Joseph Atkins, founding member of the Lawndale Christian Community Church and manager of Hope House, a substance abuse and prison ministry; Dr. Caroline Leaf, a cognitive neuroscientist with a PhD in communication pathology specializing in neuropsychology; Dr. Paul Cowley, Executive Director of Social Transformation for Alpha International; and Rudy Carrasco, the United States Regional Facilitator for Partners Worldwide.

The summit also includes more than 40 workshops on topics related to effective ministry to incarcerated individuals, those in transition from prison and jail, juveniles, church leaders, correctional administrators, victims, and families affected by crime. Pre-summit events include a forum on the families of the incarcerated. The forum, which is free and open to the public, will take place Thursday, May 28, from 2:00–4:30 p.m. in Coray Alumni Auditorium, located in the Todd M. Beamer Center at 421 Chase Street in Wheaton. A pre-summit workshop on gender-specific spiritual mentoring is also available to conference registrants.
