Scholarship Opportunity

Thorium Action Group/Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation Scholarships are
available to students who reside within School District 94 of West Chicago, Illinois.

These scholarships are available to high school seniors who will be graduating in the
spring of 2020 and attending an accredited institution of higher education located within
the United States of America on a full-time basis during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Students with a grade point average of “C” or better are encouraged to apply.
The awarding of these scholarships is not solely contingent upon grades or GPAs.
Every eligible student has an equal chance of being selected to receive this
scholarship. Students are not required to demonstrate a need for financial aid.
Thorium Action Group/Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation Scholarships are administered
through the Scholarship Program of the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley
(CFFRV).

To apply, simply complete the CFFRV Scholarship Program 2020 Application available at:

Applications must be submitted no later than January 15, 2020 by 4:00 PM CST.

Due to the competitive nature of these scholarships, and to create a fair application
process for all, late applications cannot be accepted. Therefore, do not wait until the last
minute to submit your application as you may run the risk of missing the deadline due to
technical difficulties (internet down, computer reboots/crashes, etc.).
