Signups begin for Serve City Volleyball Club tryouts in Wheaton

Serve City Volleyball is gearing up for its best season to date when the club launches its fourth year of operations in the Chicago suburbs. The 2019-2020 season tips off with tryouts for middle-school girls on Oct. 6, 7 and 14 in Wheaton and tryouts for high-school girls on Oct. 27 and 28 and Nov. 4 in Wheaton. Tryout registration has begun, with Serve City again offering the most affordable fees of any Chicago-area volleyball club.
Serve City launched its first-ever national team program in 2018-19, with its national teams competing in the Asics Jr. National Championships at Navy Pier in Chicago this past June, and its 16-and-under team finishing in fifth place in the gold division. Serve City will furnish both national and regional teams at the 12U to 18U age levels at its Wheaton and Carol Stream training locations.
The regional team season will run from Nov. 18 to April 18, while the national team season will take place from Nov. 18 to June 19-23 at Asics Jr. Nationals in Chicago.

Serve City athletes represent nearly 20 suburban communities, including Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Carol Stream, Bartlett, West Chicago, Winfield, Warrenville, Aurora, Naperville, Lisle and Downers Grove.
Serve City will kick off middle-school tryouts on Sunday, Oct. 6 in Wheaton at the Central Athletic Complex, 500 S. Naperville Rd. Serve City 12U and 13U tryouts will run from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m., followed by 14U tryouts from 4:15 to 6 p.m.

Make-up tryouts will also be available on Monday, Oct. 7 and Monday, Oct. 14 at Serve City’s main campus in Wheaton.
Serve City high-school tryouts then tip off on Sunday, Oct. 27 for athletes who aren’t competing on a high-school varsity team. Wheaton tryouts will take place at the Central Athletic Complex. Tryouts for 15U (high-school freshmen) and 16U run from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m., followed by 16U, 17U and 18U tryouts from 4:15 to 6 p.m.
Make-up tryouts are Oct. 28 and Nov. 4 at Serve City's main practice facility in Wheaton.
High-school varsity players interested in playing for a Serve City team are eligible to try out after their school season ends. Varsity athletes whose season continues beyond Oct. 29 can contact Serve City to set up another make-up tryout.
Serve City tryout registration has begun. Spots are limited, and families must register for tryouts online to reserve spots for their daughters at tryouts.
