Swing “Fore” Student Excellence at Top Golf on February 29

Help Raise Funds to Bring Virtual Reality Learning to CUSD200 Students with zSpace

Back by popular demand, the Student Excellence Foundation’s fourth annual “Swing Fore Student Excellence” event will be held Saturday, February 29 from 6-10 pm at Top Golf in Naperville. The evening includes golf play, food, a silent auction and raffle prizes. Come and enjoy a great night of fun with friends while also supporting learning opportunities for D200 students!

All proceeds for this year’s event will support zSpace, an enhanced virtual reality application that provides interactive, multi-sensory learning experiences. Students can view virtual models in 3D through lightweight glasses, examine them in detail from all angles, and manipulate them using a stylus pen, effectively bringing learning to life. This technology will be used for dissection study in D200 high school biology classrooms. Students will be able to interactively explore many specimens that would not typically be available to them at the high school level, bringing learning to life in the classroom.

Buy tickets by visiting SwingForeStudentExcellence.square.site or contacting SwingFore@StudentExcellenceFoundation.org. Unable to attend? You can still help us raise money to support virtual reality learning for our students by participating in the auction online, which will begin February 27 and close February 29 at 10 pm.
