Tate's Ice Cream to Reopen After Closing for Repairs
Tate's Ice Cream in downtown Wheaton to open Tuesday after closing for building repairs.

Tate's Ice Cream in downtown Wheaton will reopen Tuesday after closing two weeks ago due to a structural issue with the building.
The business closed to allow the building's owner to repair the second-story facade, where the brick was starting to separate from the wall, Tate's owner Lucas Bingham said Monday.
Bingham said he wanted to thank customers for their patience, and assure everyone that the building is completely safe.
