Vintage Rides Car Show to Return to Downtown Wheaton on Friday.

The event will be held on Front Street between 6 to 9 p.m.

WHEATON, IL - The first Vintage Rides car show of the summer season will be held Friday in downtown Wheaton.

The car show takes place on Front Street and the road will be closed between 211 Front Street and Cross Street between 6 to 9 p.m. to accommodate the classic cars, which will be on display, according to the Downtown Wheaton Association website.

The Vintage Rides car show will be held every Friday evening through Aug. 26. On June 3, the event will be moved to Hale Street between Front and Wesley streets to make way for the Taste of Wheaton. There will be no event on Friday, July 1.

Police personnel and temporary signs will be posted to assist motorists around the event during the temporary street closure for the Vintage Rides car shows. Motorists may experience temporary traffic delays and choose to alter their travel route to avoid these areas.
