Wheaton College Homecoming: October 3-4
Alumni will be back on campus to visit their alma mater during Wheaton College's 2014 Homecoming Weekend.

Alumni from the classes of 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009 will be back on campus to visit their alma mater during Wheaton College’s 2014 Homecoming Weekend Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4. Special reunion events are planned to give returning alumni the opportunity to reconnect with friends and professors.
The public is welcome to attend the following events:

- Women’s Soccer vs. Elmhurst College: 4:30 p.m. Friday, Joe Bean Stadium
- Women’s Volleyball vs. Loras College: 5 p.m. Friday, Sports & Recreation Complex, King Arena
- Women’s Tennis vs. Illinois Wesleyan University: 5:30 p.m. Friday, Tennis Courts
- Men’s Soccer vs. Elmhurst College: 7 p.m. Friday, Joe Bean Stadium
- Women’s Tennis vs. Millikin University: 12 p.m. Saturday, Tennis Courts
- Football Game vs. North Park University: 1 p.m. Saturday, McCully Stadium
Tickets are available at the door/gate. Cost is $6 adults; $4 students; and free for children under 5 and Wheaton ID holders.

- Wheaton Improv Performance: 7 p.m. Friday, Armerding Lecture Hall - $1 tickets available at the door.
- “The Retro Run 5k”: 8 a.m. Saturday, Edman Plaza - $10 for Wheaton College students and $15 for all others
- Homecoming BBQ: 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Saturday, Sports & Recreation Complex
Come and hang out before the football game. Lunch includes a barbecue, Thundertown (an activity area for children), and lots of blue and orange! - $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and under.
- Afrizo! in concert - experience the sounds of Africa: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Meyer Science Center Terrace - free
Homecoming Fall Concert: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Edman Memorial Chapel
The Conservatory Concert features the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra. - free.
The Wheaton College Alumni Association will honor Dr. Sharon Coolidge ’72 with the 2014 Alumna of the Year for Distinguished Service to Alma Mater award. Sharon serves as professor and chair of the English department. She is being recognized for pioneering the development of writing resources for students, staff and faculty and for her servant leadership in deepening and exemplifying Wheaton’s identity as a Christian liberal arts institution.
