CANCELED: Wheaton Public Library Hosts 2nd Local Author Fest

A Celebration of Local Authors, Featuring Keynote Speaker Elizabeth Berg

Writers and readers, mark your calendars for Saturday, April 18 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm when Wheaton Public Library will host its second Annual Local Fest, featuring New York Times Bestselling Author Elizabeth Berg!

Here's what to anticipate on that day:

1:00 pm • Elizabeth Berg • Meeting Room A

Elizabeth Berg will kick-off the event with a keynote lecture followed by a Q&A and book signing. Copies of her Mason Missouri book series will be available for purchase from Prairie Path Books.

*Free tickets for Ms. Berg's lecture will be available April 18 at noon. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis in Meeting Room A. Attendees must be present to receive a ticket.

2:00 pm • Local Author Tables • Main Floor & Lower Level

Meet Local Authors from your community and buy books! Adult and YA authors will be on the main floor and children’s authors will be on the lower level.

2:00 pm • Open Mic Readings • Café Area on Main Floor

Hear Local Authors read aloud from their work.

2:30 pm • Drop-in Storytimes by Local Children’s Authors • Storyhouse Marsh

Drop-in between 2:30-3:30 pm to hear Local Authors read their children’s books and do some literary crafts. All ages welcome.
