Wheaton Public Library to Offer Virtual Programs and Services

Wheaton Public Library will be offering a virtual library consisting of reference services, online resources, and virtual programming.

Wheaton Public Library (WPL) will remain closed until further notice, adhering to Governor Pritzker’s extension of the Shelter in Place Order. During this time, anyone living within the boundaries of School District 200 can obtain a temporary Wheaton Library Card to access eContent and online resources. Those who live within the district boundaries can sign up for a card at wheatonlibrary.org/getcard.

WPL staff has been working from home to develop a Virtual Library, which can be accessed at wheatonlibrary.org. The Virtual Library contains free online resources for remote learning, virtual tours, online performances, and WPL databases and eContent.

WPL’s Adult Services staff will be offering Virtual Reference through email at askref@wheatonlibrary.org and chat through the library’s website. Telephone Reference is also available by calling 630-909-9698.
