Wheaton Welcomes Warhol on May 22
The public is invited to a ceremony unveiling of Wheaton's public art project on May 22 at 4:30 pm.

The public is welcome on May 22 at 4:30 pm for a ceremony unveiling Wheaton’s public art project for College of DuPage's Warhol Public Pop Art Challenge. The celebration is hosted by the Wheaton Public Library, the Downtown Wheaton Association, the City of Wheaton, and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce.
The art display at the library’s west plaza will feature four portraits of prominent Wheaton figures recreated by local artist Geoff Bevington in Andy Warhol’s signature pop art style. The figures were chosen by the Chamber of Commerce’s Arts, Business, & Culture Committee, made up of almost 30 local business-owners, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders. While the identities of the four famous faces remain a secret until the unveiling, they will be introduced by local leaders including:
Wheaton Mayor, Phil Suess
