Storm Water Project to Shut Down Sheridan Road Next Week
The IDOT construction work will affect the stretch between Tower Road and Scott Avenue.

WILMETTE, IL —An Illinois Department of Transportation construction project will shut down a portion of Sheridan Road on Monday, Aug. 1, according to the village. The closure will affect a stretch of roadway from Tower Road to Scott Avenue.
The reason for the shut down is continuing work on a storm water project in the lower ravine area near the road. Drivers should find alternate routes to avoid delays.
Because IDOT is managing the project, the village is asking that questions and concerns be directed to that agency's resident engineer, Larry Pray, at 847-410-7394, or the project engineer, Jim Stewart, at 847-705-4262.
