Wilmette Man Charged with Prostitution
Undercover officer had allegedly been offered sex act in exchange for $80.
A Wilmette man has been charged with prostitution after offering to perform sex acts on an undercover Wilmette police officer on New Year’s Eve.
Police arrested Manuel L. Macon, 38, 309 Ridge Apt. 207A at 11:24 a.m. after learning that a resident of the apartment complex had been soliciting for sex acts on backpage.com. The undercover officer contacted and met with the individual, later identified at Macon, who offered to perform the act in exchange for $80 in cash.
