Roache-Pena was not at the scene when police arrived, but officers learned that she had fled the minivan with a child, the report stated. Two adults and another child were still in vehicle and had been injured during the accident, the report added.
Police eventually found Roache-Pena a block away in the 500 block of Isabella Street. When a resident came out because of the crash, Roache-Pena ran into her house and locked the door behind her, according to the report.
The homeowner then entered her residence through the back door, the report stated. That's when Roache-Pena allegedly flashed a knife and walked toward the resident, who escaped the house unharmed, the report added.
