DUI Arrests For Cleveland, Lake Forest, Evanston Men: Blotter
Winnetka, Glencoe and Northfield Police Blotters: March 8 - March 14

WINNETKA, IL — The following information comes from the Glencoe, Winnetka and Northfield police departments as a record of police activity and incidents reported to the police. Anyone arrested is innocent unless proven guilty. Criminal charges represent merely accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced.

INCIDENTS
AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT
A resident of the 800 block of Oak Street reported on the afternoon of March 7 that someone had accessed their email account between midnight and 1:30 a.m. that morning and compromised their personal information. Soon, $900 in fraudulent purchases were found on several credit cards.

ARRESTS
A 24-year-old Chicago man was arrested at 8:27 a.m. on March 8 in the 300 block of Winnetka Avenue, charged with driving without a valid license and issued citations for not having insurance and for using an electronic device while driving.

Mario A. Flores-Roa, 30, of the 1000 block of Dewey Avenue, Evanston, was arrested at 5:34 p.m. on March 9 in the 900 block of Green Bay Road and charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol. He was also cited for not having insurance and having an open container of alcohol.
Joseph M. Lutz, 39, of the 700 block of Cherokee Road, Lake Forest, was arrested at 1:20 a.m. on March 11 near the intersection of Sheridan Road and Elm Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and issued a speeding ticket.
GLENCOE
INCIDENTS
THEFT
Someone stole several items of jewelry from the 400 block of Madison Avenue sometime between February and March, police were told on the afternoon of March 7.
ARRESTS
A 38-year-old Winnetka man was arrested at 10:13 p.m. on March 8 near the intersection of Vernon and Park avenues and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was also issued a citation for failing to signal.
A 26-year-old Racine, Wisconsin woman was arrested at 12:57 a.m. on March 10 near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Park Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended registration.
Elias H. Rogazt, 24, of the 3000 block of East 63rd Street in Cleveland, Ohio was arrested at 3:41 a.m. on March 11 and charged with driving under the influence near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Valley Road.
NORTHFIELD
INCIDENTS
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident of the 300 block of Shadowood Lane reported shortly before 1 p.m. on March 6 that someone had compromised their band account.
ARRESTS
A 60-year-old Glenview man was arrested around 4 p.m. on March 9 and charged with driving without a valid license, without insurance and without wearing a seat belt following a traffic stop around the intersection of Waukegan and Westleigh roads.
