Good Grapes Wine Boutique Now Open in Winnetka

Owned by Theresa Lucas, Good Grapes operated in Glencoe for more than five years.

The latest addition to Winnetka’s Central Business District is Good Grapes Wine Boutique, now open for long-time and new customers around the North Shore at 821 Chestnut Court.

Owner Theresa Lucas is happy to present her newest storefront featuring wine, craft beers and bubbly.

“Everything is in place and ready for our customers to stop in and enjoy,” she said. “Each day we have 8 wines available for sampling and on Saturdays we taste the bubbly.”

Good Grapes is not new to the region, having spent more than five years at a Glencoe location that had to close due to a boiler malfunction.

“Though I was sad to part from Glencoe, I’m thrilled with the welcome Winnetka businesses and residents have shown us.” said Lucas.

The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce is happy to welcome the business to the area.

“The Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome Good Grapes to our membership and our streetscape,” said Terry Dason, executive director of the Chamber. “We know shoppers will really enjoy having a unique wine shop in the neighborhood.”

Loyal customers are also excited to see the business remain in the region.

“Good Grapes is a fantastic store and I’m thrilled they have new space in our neighborhood. It’s my go-to wine shop and I’m so pleased they are back and better than ever,” said Rick Rosin of Glencoe, a longtime customer and wine enthusiast.

Monthly wine memberships are available.
