Kukla, Fran, and Ollie were among the most beloved of puppets. Their television show from the late 1940’s into the 1950’s and beyond captivated adults as much as children. Precursors of the Muppets, Shari Lewis & Lambchop, and created by Burr Tillstrom, the two puppets Kukla and Ollie, and their companions with hostess Fran Allison, charmed millions not only on television, but in the theatre throughout the 1980’s!
