Man Who Fell Off Bridge in Glencoe Dies

GLENCOE, IL — A man died after he fell off a Sheridan Road bridge in Glencoe Friday morning.

Police in the village alerted residents that around 10 a.m. the man fell off the bridge in the 500 block of Sheridan, according to a Daily North Shore report.

Officers found the man unresponsive and “on the floor of the ravine with severe injuries,” a safety alert issued to residents read. The man was taken to Evanston Hospital, where he died.

Police say there is no sign of foul play, but the incident remains a death investigation. The man has not been identified.

The bridge is about midway between South and Hawthorn avenues on Sheridan.
