North Shore Congregation Israel to Install New Assistant Rabbi
Ryan Daniels will be installed during a November 20 ceremony.

North Shore Congregation Israel in Glencoe will install its newest assistant rabbi, Ryan Daniels, in November.
Daniels, 28, an ordained rabbi from New York City, will be officially installed at NSCI during a ceremony that will take place during the Friday evening service on November 20. A dinner will follow.
During the ceremony, Rabbi Norman Cohen from Hebrew Union College - one of Daniels’ professors in rabbinical school - will speak.

“I am so grateful to this entire NSCI community for welcoming me and my wife, Carlie, with open arms,” Daniels said. “I look forward to continued opportunities to meet and learn with members of this community. I am humbled by the opportunity to develop a rabbinate where cultivating lasting relationships is a central part of my daily work.”
NSCI’s senior rabbi, Wendi Geffen, said she is delighted that Daniels has joined the synagogue’s clergy.
