Northfield Farmers' Market Opens Saturday, May 21

The opening day of the Northfield Farmers’ Market is Saturday, May 21, 7:30am -12:30pm at 6 Happ Road, Northfield, IL. (across the street from New Trier High School, Northfield Campus) Enjoy a casual morning among friends shopping for fresh vegetables and fruits, plants, flowers, cheeses, pastries, coffee and various gourmet items. During the season, there will be cooking demonstrations given by local chefs featuring items that can be purchased in the Market. Opening Day, May 21, the Guest Chef will be Sean Hofherr of Hofherr Meat Company, 300 Happ Road, Northfield. Hohferr Meat Company specializes in assisting their customers to be able to serve restaurant quality meats in their home. Not only do they sell specialty meats but also a variety of carefully selected dry goods, dairy items, produce, and drinks.

Full time Participants in the 2016 Northfield Farmers' Market will be: 3D Falafel, Apple Holler, Bruce's Hot Dogs, CB Custom Bake Shop, Curt's Cafe, Exact Blade, Marche Provence, Hofherr Meat Co, Klug Orchards, North Wichert Gardens, Northfield Lion's Club, Red's Garden Center, Sherwood North Nursery, The Cheese People, Twin Garden Farms, Turk's Greenhouses and Zia Barbara Pasta Sauces. From week to week there will be other various vendors participating.
