Northfield Man Brandishes Shotgun At Construction Crew: Police
The 61-year-old gunman allegedly began yelling at the workers for making noise.

NORTHFIELD, IL — A construction crew called the cops on a Northfield man after he came out of his house armed with a shotgun and began yelling at them for making noise, police said.
Shortly after noon on June 5, Northfield police received a report of a man with a gun on the 200 block of Churchill. Marcus White, 61, a resident of that block, was arrested for possession of an unlicensed gun and issued a local citation for breach of the peace, police said.
He told police he was angry about the noise coming from the construction site. None of the construction workers wished to press charges against White, according to Northfield police.
