Old Willow Road Lanes to Close Overnight

NORTHFIELD, IL - Northbound lanes of Old Willow Road at Willow Road will be closed overnight tonight and Thursday night beginning at 7 p.m. as a contractor rehabs sanitary sewers on Old Willow Road.

The roadway will re-open at 7 a.m. both Thursday and Friday to allow for daytime traffic during the project, according to the village. Southbound lanes will remain open the entire time.

This sanitary sewer rehabilitation is done by using a “No Dig” method called Cured-In-Place Pipe. This will result in “like new” pipes that will serve the Village for many years to come, the village stated.
