Olympian Conor Dwyer Shows His Nose for Fun on 'The Late Late Show' (VIDEO)

The Winnetka swimmer joined 2 other fellow Olympians on Thursday to play an unusual guessing game with host James Corden.

Being an Olympic gold medalist comes with its share of perks and privileges. For Winnetka swimmer Conor Dwyer, that's meant appearing on late-night TV and sticking his nose in places he probably didn't want to.

Like a bodybuilder's greased-up armpit. Or a zebra's hindquarters.

Dwyer, who took home an individual bronze medal and a team gold medal in this year's Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, was a guest Thursday on The Late Late Show With James Corden. He joined fellow Olympic swimmer Nathan Adrian and Final Five gymnast Gabby Douglas to play Nuzzle Whaaa?, a game that has blindfolded contestants try to identify items put before them.

Although Corden took note of Dwyer's fierce competitive spirit ("He's even competitive at 'nuzzling'," the host said), that drive to win wasn't enough for the swimmer successfully ID his Nuzzle Whaaa? items: a weightlifting bodybuilder and a zebra.

Not winning the late-night competition didn't seem to dampen Dwyer's Late Late Show experience, though. He and his fellow Olympians were able to contribute to the show's photo booth wall, right under a befuddled-looking Dave Franco.

Dwyer and Adrian also appeared very relaxed in the Late Late Show's green room before they went on camera.

The work of a competitive athlete, however, never ends. On Friday, Dwyer demonstrated on Twitter how he keeps his swimmer's body in shape even when he's on the road and visiting places like New York City:
