Pair Found With Some Else's ID, Credit Cards: Police

$100 worth of damage at Plant Road Center on Tower Road.

The following information is from the Winnetka Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

Michael J. Debrown, 24, Roselle and Nick P. Whelan, 23, Villa Park were both arrested and charged with possession of the identification card of another and possession of the credit card of another at 10:05 a.m. on October 13 in the 400 block of Green Bay Road. This arrest was made subsequent to an investigation of two suspicious subjects observed in a vehicle parked in the area.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

An officer discovered between 6:17 p.m. on July 25 and 1:40 p.m. on October 15, unknown offender(s) defaced the south exterior wall of the Plant Load Center on Tower Road with white markings. Public Works was notified for removal. Repair costs $100.

DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

Ryszard Misiaszek, 53, Chicago was stopped in the 1000 block of Gage St. at 10:19 a.m. on October 17 and arrested for driving with a suspended driver’s license and cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This arrest was made subsequent to a traffic crash investigation.

IDENTITY THEFT

A victim discovered at noon on October 9, unknown offender(s) used his personal identifiers to open multiple store credit card accounts without authorization. No reported loss at this time.
