Park District Installs Village's 1st Public Electric Car Charger
The Wilmette Park District plans to install two more stations this summer.
The Wilmette Park District is proud to announce that we have installed the FIRST PUBLIC CHARGING STATION IN ALL OF WILMETTE, right at our very own Community Recreation Center! The charging station is located in the parking lot on the east side of the building, and can serve two vehicles at once. This service is completely free - as a courtesy to our visitors.
Plug in while working out at the Center Fitness Club, or charge up during your next family night event. We hope our charging station will be of good use to community members on-the-go with electric vehicles.

Coming early this summer, we'll be installing two more electric car charging stations! Wilmette Golf and Village Hall are next in line to receive charging stations. The station at Village Hall will be paid for by the Village of Wilmette, and installed by the Park District. Stay tuned for more details!
