Stolen Identities; Door Damaged In Break-In Attempt: Blotters
Chicago residents arrested for domestic battery, driving offenses: Winnetka, Glencoe and Northfield police blotters, Jan. 24 to Jan. 30.

WINNETKA, IL — The following information comes from the Glencoe, Winnetka and Northfield police departments as a record of police activity and incidents reported to the police. Criminal charges represent merely accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Anyone arrested is innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

INCIDENTS
CAR BURGLARY
Someone damaged the passenger side window of a car parked in the 1500 block of Asbury Avenue between 12:53 and 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 21, stealing a purse with a wallet and credit card inside. Someone later made more than $2,500 in purchases from a Target store Evanston.
ATTEMPTED HOME BURGLARY
A resident in the 800 block of Bell Lane reported at 1:10 p.m. on Jan. 23 that someone had done $2,500 damage to the front door of their home while attempting to break in.

IDENTITY THEFT
A Sheridan Road resident reported on the afternoon of Jan. 26 that someone had used their identity to open up a Best Buy account on Dec. 28 and make more than $760 in purchases. The resident's identity was also used in an attempt to open up accounts with Target and Kay Jewelers.

- A Vernon Avenue resident reported on the morning of Jan. 23 that someone used their identity to open up Verizon and Chase Amazon cards.
- A Prairie Road resident reported on Jan. 28 that someone had used their identity to open a Verizon account, accrue nearly $3,000 in charges and unsuccessfully apply for a Walmart account.
ARRESTS
A 33-year-old Waukegan man was arrested around 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 24 in the area of Northwood Drive and Green Bay Road and charged with driving without a valid license and issued a citation for no rear registration light.
D'Angelo D. Dunlap, 22, of the 5900 block of West Erie Street, Chicago, was arrested shortly before 1 a.m. on Jan. 25 in the 300 block of Washington Avenue and charged with domestic battery, violation of an order of protection, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, theft and cannabis possession.
NORTHFIELD
INCIDENTS
SUSPICIOUS NOISE
A Meadowview Drive resident reported hearing someone kick their back door around 10 p.m. on Jan. 22. Officers checked the area and located what appeared to be tracks from a dog.
ARRESTS
A 46-year-old Chicago man was arrested around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 in the area of Willow Road and the Edens Expressway and charged with driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and cited for improper use of auxiliary driving.
