Winnetka, Glencoe, Northfield Trick-Or-Treat Hours Halloween 2021
Village staff encouraged residents to post signs on their windows or doors indicating whether they are participating in trick-or-treating.
NEW TRIER TOWNSHIP, IL — Village officials in Glencoe, Northfield and Winnetka have issued recommended Halloween trick-or-treating hours and encouraged residents to keep safety in mind.
In Glencoe, neighborhood trick-or-treating will run from 4 to 8 p.m. Village staff advised the community to consider creative ways to incorporate face masks into Halloween costumes, and suggested residents indicate whether they are participating in trick-or-treating this year by posting a sign and turning on porch lights.
In Northfield, trick-or-treating will run from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Village staff encouraged residents to make sure older children stay in a group and know their curfew, to check treats before letting children eat them and to never enter anyone's home while trick-or-treating.

in Winnetka, trick-or-treat hours have been set for 2 to 6 p.m. Village staff recommended parents walk with their children as they trick-or-treat and that motorists be cautious of more pedestrian traffic.

4 to 6 p.m., Oct. 22: Pumpkins in the Woods, a pumpkin patch at Hubbard Woods Park, 939 Green Bay Road.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 23: Superhero Tractor Ride at the Winnetka Park District, 540 Hibbard Road.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 23: With a theme of "Monster Bash," the Winnetka Park District's first-ever Trunk-or-Treat event is taking place at 600 Hibbard Road.
5 p.m. Oct. 29: Boo Bash at Kalk Park will feature family-friendly games, treats and surprises, all children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 30: Spooky Saturday, with costumes encouraged, at the children's department of the Glencoe Public Library
1:40 to 2:55 p.m., Oct. 30 and 1:20 to 2:30 p.m., Oct. 31: Halloween Party on Ice at the Winnetka Ice Arena, 490 Hibbard Road.
