Elderly Disabled Resident Robbed; Police Investigating
An elderly resident with a disability was robbed at her Woodridge home on Monday.

Woodridge police are investigating the robbery of a resident earlier this week.
According to police, an unknown person or people entered the home of an elderly resident with a disability at about 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28.
Administrative assistant Pam Ward said the resident allowed a male into the home. At this time there was no description of the man.

The home, in the 9000 block of Lancaster Lane, was ransacked. Numerous items were stolen, including cash and jewelry.
Police said no weapons were used and no one injured, but reminded residents to secure their home and car, and not to allow unknown people inside their homes.
