The Better Government Association is offering two free trainings in how to be a citizen watchdog.
You'll learn:
• Basic journalism skills
• Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
• Local government structure
The sessions will be held on Feb. 23 and March 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Joliet Jr. College, located at 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
