Retirement Reception for Rev. Gerald Riva

The “Friends of Father Riva” are hosting a Retirement Reception for Rev. Gerald Riva at Café Buonaro’s in Fifth Avenue Station, Naperville, on Sunday, July 15, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.

Tickets are $15 per person, which includes hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, desserts and soft drinks.  Children until 10 are free of charge.

Reservations are required.  Please send check payable to “Friends of Father Riva” c/o Bridgeview Bank, 3540 Hobson Road, Woodridge, Il 60517. Please include names of adults and children attending, and R.S.V.P. not later than July 5.

Ticket price covers the cost of the reception.  Personal gifts should be made payable to “Rev. Gerald Riva.”  There will be a gift box at the reception.

During his years of ministry, Father Riva has served the parish of St. Matthew (Glendale Heights), St. Irene (Warrenville), Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst) and St. Scholastica (Woodridge).  He taught at St. Francis High School (Wheaton) and helped with the theater program at Nazareth Academy.  He is a talented member of the Tempo Players, and an active member of the World Wide Marriage Encounter Team.
