Free Summer Concerts Kick Off In Woodridge

WOODRIDGE, IL -- With warmer weather here and summer just around the corner, Woodridge Park District is getting ready to kick off its free summer concert series. The free concerts will take place every Wednesday in parks throughout the village, starting on June 20 and wrapping up on August 2.

Concerts start at 7 p.m. on the designated days and run for about an hour and a half. The schedule for the park district's free summer concert series is as follows:

• June 20 The Niche Band at Lake Harriet
• June 27 Scribbel Monster at Westminster Park
• July 11 Brittany and the Spears at Mending Wall Park
• July 18 The Nick Pontarelli Band at Janes Avenue Park
• July 25 Bopology at Seven Bridges Park
• August 2 Whiskeyfist at Westminster Park
