Jewel Gourmet Sandwich Buns Recalled

Gourmet Sandwich Rolls and Sub Buns sold under the Jewel brand, produced by Gonella Baking Company, are being recalled because people who are allergic to milk may have a reaction to the product.

Whey, derived from milk, is an ingredient not listed on the package.

Packages sold between Dec. 9, 2014, and Jan. 17, 2015, should be returned to Jewel for a refund. The packages carry the product codes 11563 and 15840, according to the company, and were distributed to Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana stores.
